Greeting Parkville High Parents, Students, Faculty and Staff,
The PHS PTSA is excited to welcome you to Parkville High School and the 2021/2022 school year. We know that the last year and a half has been completely unprecedented, and we are hoping for a return to some sense of normalcy in our school year. We hope that everyone has had a chance to enjoy sun-filled, relaxing summer days with your family. We are looking forward to an exciting and successful school year. This year we are looking to our new and current parents to help make the PTSA successful. We currently have 3 Executive Board openings. Without the Executive Board, the PTSA cannot operate. If you would like to volunteer as a Vice President, Secretary or Treasurer, please call or text Tara Curtis at 410-236-8021.
The mission of the PTSA is to encourage and support our students, parents, teachers and administrators. With your support, we can continue to help make Parkville academically challenging and nurturing for our children. Your contribution, whether it is your time, knowledge, or resources make a difference!
We invite you to become a member of the Parkville High School PTSA by completing the enclosed membership form. You can return the form to the school: Attention: PTSA – Membership, or bring it to Back-to-School Night on September 9, 2021.
This year we will have our PTSA meetings broadcast virtually as well as in person (when we are able to meet in person). During these meetings, parents, students, and staff are invited to give ideas and suggestions as to what our PTSA can do for the student body as well as volunteer to help in those activities. PTSA meetings will be held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
Our hope is that we will be able to keep parents informed of upcoming events throughout the school year utilizing Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Be sure to include your cell phone number and email address on your membership form so that you can get information as we update fundraisers and events throughout the year!
We look forward to getting to know you and your family and hope to see you at Back-to-School Night where we will kick off our Membership Drive, Spirit Wear sales and Fall Mum sales.
