The program assists students in learning the English language and assisting students in their content classes to reach the graduation and open perspectives for life after high school. The program is also supported by a bilingual assistant principal, guidance counselor, social worker.

Several ESOL students play sports for PHS or are members of different clubs. They go on field trips to enhance their content instruction or visit colleges to explore pathways for their future.

The WiDA test for ESOL students starts January 8, 2020. Students: You need to bring your charged devices with you and attend regularly. Do your best and show how much you have advanced in acquiring English! Make yourselves proud and PHS proud of you.
