Parkville Celebrates the Arts

Parkville’s Performing Arts art program is one of the best in Baltimore County! Our mission is to provide the highest quality performing arts classes possible to support the needs and interests of our students. Developing students’ ability to understand and apply principles and language of theory, composition, performance, production, and choreography empowers their growth as performing artists. Additionally, working as part of an ensemble builds key life skills in teamwork and interpersonal connections that transcend the arts.

One of the best ways to get a taste of the full range of arts experiences we offer is to join us in the Spring for “Parkville Celebrates the Arts,” our annual community arts festival showcasing both the Visual and Performing Arts at Parkville High School.

This year Parkville Celebrates the Arts will be held Thursday, May 13, 2027, at 6pm. We hope to see you there!

Courses Offered

- Instrumental music classes include Guitar, Piano, Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, and Concert Orchestra.
- Vocal music classes include Chorus and Honors Chorale. 
- Parkville’s Dance program offers four levels of classes. Upper level students also have the opportunity to audition to be a part of our amazing honors-level Dance Company.
- We also offer classes in Music & Audio Technology for our aspiring young music producers.
