Seal of Biliteracy

The Maryland Seal of Biliteracy is a prestigious award affixed to graduating public high school students' diplomas and transcripts. It recognizes a high level of proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in both English and one or more additional languages.

World Language Proficiency: Demonstrate an "Intermediate High" proficiency level or higher by scoring 4 or 5 on an AP Exam, or meeting requirements the STAMP  assessment in a language other than English.

English Proficiency: Pass the Maryland High School Assessment in English 10
